Do I need a state-approved pre-licensing course, or is this just exam prep?+
Depends on your state. About 17 states (including CA, FL, NY, GA) require state-approved pre-licensing education before you can sit for the exam. Most other states — including Texas — require you to pass the exam but don't mandate formal PLE. Our course is built as exam prep; if your state requires PLE, you'll need to take a state-approved PLE course separately. We flag this clearly on every state's page.
How long will it take me to finish the course?+
Most students finish in 2–4 weeks of casual study (an hour or two a night). You can go faster if you're in a rush. There's no time limit — lifetime access means you can take as long as you need.
What happens if I fail my real exam?+
Retake the real exam. Many states let you retake as soon as you pay the exam fee again. Our course stays with you — come back, study the sections you missed, and try again. If you feel the course itself let you down, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

For exam prep in states that don't require state-approved PLE, no provider approval is required — but we still build to the state's exam content outline.
