This Privacy Policy describes how Elite Training Academy ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service").

We collect information in three categories:

• Account information. Name, email address, and (for students preparing for a state licensing exam) the last four digits of your Social Security number and date of birth, which may be required by a state department of insurance to report course completions.
• Usage information. Lessons viewed, seat time accumulated, practice and exam answers, and progress metrics, so we can measure completion against state requirements and improve the Service.
• Payment information. We do not store credit-card numbers. Payment is handled by Stripe; we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits of your card for your own receipts.

2. How we use your information

We use the information to:

• Provide the Service, including course delivery and grading;
• Issue completion certificates and report completions to state regulators;
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
• Communicate with you about your account, purchases, and course progress.

3. How we share your information

We share information only with:

• Service providers that host our infrastructure, process payments, deliver email, and perform proctoring on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations.
• State regulators (for example, the Texas Department of Insurance) as required for completion reporting.
• Law enforcement or government agencies when legally required or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain account and course completion records for the period required by the relevant state's insurance regulations (typically five years), and for as long as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations.

5. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Sensitive personal data (such as the last four digits of your SSN) is stored encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

You may access or update your account information through your dashboard, or request deletion by emailing us at the address below. Some information (like completion records submitted to a state regulator) cannot be deleted because we are required to retain it.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service.
