How many questions are on the Virginia Public Adjuster exam?

Virginia administers the VA Public Adjuster Exam, 50 scored questions, a 60-minute time limit, administered by Prometric. The exam fee is $35.

What score do I need to pass?

Virginia does not publish a passing score for this examination, so treat the candidate handbook as the authority rather than any figure quoted elsewhere.

Does Virginia require state-approved prelicensing education?

No. Virginia does not mandate prelicensing education for the Public Adjuster license. The state exam is the standard qualification, but some applicants are exempt from it (for example by a prior license or a qualifying designation, and in some states an approved course). Check the exemptions listed on the state DOI website before you register and pay for an exam.

Is the practice exam built to the real Virginia exam's format?
