NIPR does not verify exams before submission. Exams are required for Insurance Producer, most Limited Lines Producer lines, Resident Surplus Lines Producer, Resident Title Agent, Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser, Resident Public Adjuster, Resident Viatical Settlements Broker and Resident Limited Lines Travel Insurance Producer.
Fingerprints and background check
Fingerprint documentation is required for most applicants, excluding amendments, Viatical Settlement Brokers, Motor Vehicle Appraisers and Surplus Lines Producers, and is submitted to the Pennsylvania Insurance Department. No vendor is named.
