State exam
Resident Producer exams are required for Life, Health, Casualty, Property, Personal Lines and Bail. Public Adjuster sits the Adjuster Property and Casualty exam, Independent Adjuster and Staff Adjuster the Adjuster Workers Compensation exam, and Company Adjuster both. A Resident Motor Club Agent either takes the motor club exam or is appointed by an authorised company.
Fingerprints and background check
From 26 January 2026 the Nevada Division of Insurance requires resident individual applicants to put a Sircon Confirmation ID or NIPR Transaction Number on the Fingerprint Authorization Form. It applies to Insurance Producer, Public Adjuster, Independent Adjuster, Staff Adjuster and Company Adjuster applicants.
