Insurance Producer exams are required for Life, Accident and Health or Sickness, Property, Casualty, Title and Personal Lines, and not required for Credit, Travel or Variable Life and Variable Annuity. Public Adjuster requires an exam. Surplus Lines Broker, Motor Club Representative and Viatical Settlement Broker do not. Adviser requires exams for Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
How to apply
Apply electronically through NIPR. A few licence types, such as Self-Service Storage, still require paper.
