Insurance Producer exams are required for Life, Accident & Health or Sickness, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines and Credit, and not required for Variable Life and Variable Annuity or Travel. Auto Damage Appraiser, Insurance Adviser and Public Insurance Adjuster require exams; Surplus Lines Broker, Reinsurance Intermediary and Motor Club do not.
Fingerprints and background check
Supporting documentation is required, including proof of U.S. citizenship or background documentation. No vendor is named.

Also worth knowing
A $75 lead paint surcharge applies when adding Property, Casualty or Personal Lines. Surplus Lines Brokers must already hold active producer property and casualty licences.
