What Florida requires

- State exam
- Agent exams are required for Life with Variable Annuities, Health, General Lines - All, Personal Lines, Surplus Lines and Title, and not required for Credit, Motor Vehicle Rental, Travel, Portable Electronics or Eyewear. Service Representative classes require no exam.
- Fingerprints and background check
- Applicants must be fingerprinted by IdentoGO by Idemia. Exemptions apply where prints were submitted within twelve months, or within forty-eight months for a current licensee.
- How to apply
- Apply electronically through NIPR, and open a MyProfile account at DICE.fldfs.com to track status.
- License term and renewal
- Continuing education is due every two years by the end of the licensee's birth month.

- Florida application fees are non-refundable under section 626.171(5), F.S. Public Adjuster is not listed as a licence class on this page, which is why an adjuster candidate should work from the Department of Financial Services directly.

How many questions are on the Florida Public Adjuster exam?
Florida administers the FLA Public All Lines Adjuster (0320, 7320), 100 scored questions, a 120-minute time limit, administered by Pearson VUE. The exam fee is $44.
What score do I need to pass?
The published passing score is 70%.
Does Florida require state-approved prelicensing education?
No. Florida does not mandate prelicensing education for the Public Adjuster license - passing the exam is what qualifies you. Exam prep alone is sufficient.
Is the practice exam built to the real Florida exam's format?
