- $125 (Insurance Producer)
- State exam
- Insurance Producer exams are required for Life, Health, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines, Surety and Multi-Peril Crop; Variable Annuities does not require one. Adjuster exams are required for Property, Casualty, Surety, Motor Vehicle, Marine & Transportation and Workers' Compensation. Public Adjuster requires the Property exam.
- Fingerprints and background check
- A state criminal history report and a federal FBI criminal history report, each dated within ninety days of receipt, are required.

- Line of authority addition fee $50, administrative fee $200. Exam scores are valid for twelve months.

How many questions are on the Delaware Property exam?
Delaware administers the DE Property Producer, 85 scored questions, a 135-minute time limit, administered by Pearson VUE. The exam fee is $90.
What score do I need to pass?
Delaware does not publish a passing score for this examination, so treat the candidate handbook as the authority rather than any figure quoted elsewhere.
Does Delaware require state-approved prelicensing education?
No. Delaware does not mandate prelicensing education for the Property license - passing the exam is what qualifies you. Exam prep alone is sufficient.
