State exam
Insurance Producer exams are required for Life, Accident and Health or Sickness, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines and Crop, and not required for Variable Life and Variable Annuity, Credit or Travel. Adjuster and Bail Bond Agent and Surplus Lines Broker require exams; Staff Adjuster, Life Settlement Broker, Navigator, Certified Application Counselor, Portable Electronics Vendor, Risk Management Consultant and Self Service Storage Agent do not.
Pre-licensing education
Arizona law does not require pre-license education.
Fingerprints and background check
Fingerprints for resident insurance professional licences must be submitted electronically through the Arizona Department of Public Safety Public Services Portal.
